PULL APART DINNER ROLLS
These Warm & Buttery Dinner Rolls Are Such A Winner With Anything.
For The Dough:
Mix In 50g Melted Butter Into The Milk Mixture But Makesure It Is Not Too Hot,This Will Kill The Yeast
Add In One Beaten Egg To This & Set Aside
Next The Dry Ingredients:
500g All Purpose Flour(You May Need More)
Tsp Salt
Two Tbsp Milk Pwd
To Make The Dough,Simply Combine Wet & Dry Ingredients & Form Into A Smooth Dough.I Used The Stand Mixer But You Could Definitely Use Your Strong Hands..
Let This Dough Rest For An Hour Covered In A Warm Place.
After It Has Doubled In Size,Punch The Dough In & Transfer To A Flat Work Top.
Dust With More Flour If Needed & Start Dividing Into Medium Sized Balls.Makes About 12.This Dough Is Quite Sticky But Still Manageable.Makesure It Is Not Too Dry!!!
Then Place Them On A Greased Oven Proof Baking Dish & Leave A Little Space For Them To Expand
Then EggWash & Sprinkle Sesame Seeds On Top
Bake In A Pre Heated Oven @180’ For Atleast 40 Minutes Or Untill The Buns Are Beautiful & Golden On The Outside & Still Soft On The Inside.Apply More Butter On Top As Soon As It’s Out Of The Oven.& Keep Covered With A Tea Towel Till You Serve Them,This Helps Maintain The Fluffiness On The Insides & Prevents The Bread From Drying Out Due To Humidity
This Dough Freezes Well & Can Be Made Ahead Too,But Makesure You Thaw Them Before Baking Them.
These Rolls Are Better Stored In A Plastic Bag While Being Refrigerated.
Now You Could Serve Them As It Is & Let Your Guests Pull Them Apart Or You Could Do It Yourself & Assemble With A Wonderful Filling.Today I Paired These Soft Rolls With My Home Made MeatBalls.
